My name is Melinda Bearden and I have lived in the Winston/Fairplay community most of my life.  I attended Winston Elementary, Chapel Hill Middle, and Douglas County High School. 
  I will begin my 23rd year of teaching in the Douglas County School System. I look forward to another exciting year at Mason Creek.  In my spare time, I enjoy vacations to the beach, gardening, cooking and keeping up with the Atlanta Braves, golf and college football.
