SUPER SUMMER READING OPPORTUNITIES
Students are encouraged to continue reading every day during the summer.  The Douglas County Public Libraries' Summer Reading Programs feature special story times and more.  Registration is free and starts on May 23 with the program ending in late July.

Students can also login to ClassLink on a device at home and visit the Destiny Discover Library App, or the myOn Reader app, to read electronic books at home during the summer.

How will our Summer Readers at Mason Creek Elementary be recognized?

Students have (3) options to show that they participated in Summer Reading.  Choose one option (or more than one, if you want to reach for the stars).  The deadline to turn in the evidence of summer reading will be Wednesday, August 8th, to your homeroom teacher.

Option 1
Make a copy of your DC Library Summer Reading Participation

Option 2
Turn in a list of (15) books that you read over the summer, with a parent signature to verify.

Option 3
Read (5) books of your choice.  For each book, write a summary of the story, and draw an illustration of your favorite part.

We hope you have a GREAT SUMMER OF READING!
