We had a wonderful conclusion to our Field Days! 🎉 Our 4th and 5th graders had their big day on Monday, and 2nd and 3rd grade wrapped up the fun on Tuesday! From exciting games to some great targets in the dunking booth, everyone had a fantastic time making memories with friends and teachers.
A huge thank you to Coach Hurley for planning such an awesome experience for our students and Coach Taylor for helping carry out the vision! We appreciate all the hard work that made these days so special! 🐺💙

🌱 Green Thumbs in Action! 🌱
Our garden got some extra love this morning thanks to Mrs. Ochoa’s amazing class! 🥕🍅
While getting their hands dirty, our students became little botanists—discussing the different parts of a plant and learning exactly how vegetables grow from tiny seeds to harvest. 🧠✨
The team worked hard to plant: 🍅 Tomatoes 🥒 Cucumbers 🫑 Peppers
The best part? These homegrown veggies will provide fresh, healthy snacks for our school animals all summer long! 🐰🐢

Our first two Field Days were a huge success! ☀️
A big thank you to Coach Hurley and also Coach Taylor and all of our amazing 5th grade helpers for creating such fun and memorable days for our PEC students, Kindergarteners, and 1st graders! Even with a rainy start, our Kindergarten and 1st grade students brought the energy in the gym before heading outside for exciting water games and lots of laughter.
We can’t wait to keep the fun going next week with 4th & 5th grade and then 2nd & 3rd grade! 🎉🏃♀️🏃♂️

Tomorrow kicks off our final Beanstack challenge of the school year! 📚🎉
Be on the lookout for upcoming Beanstack challenges from the district and public library for even more chances to read and win prizes all summer long!
For May, our completion timeline is shifting slightly due to the end of the school year:
⭐ Read 300 minutes by May 15 to earn a brag tag
⭐ Read 400 minutes by May 15 to earn a delicious bundtlet from Nothing Bundt Cakes
We are so proud of all the reading our students have accomplished this year and can’t wait to celebrate their hard work one last time! 💙📖

Kindergarten had a wonderful time on their last field trip of the year on Monday! Students traveled to Sparkles in Hiram for a fun-filled day of STEM learning and exciting activities. They explored, created, and learned together while making special memories with their classmates. To top off an amazing day, everyone enjoyed pizza before heading back to school! 🎉🍕✨

While classmates worked hard to master a new song on the xylophones and recorders, Zaire cheered on several classmates without ever being prompted or asked. His positive words and support helped encourage others to keep trying and do their best!

We had a wonderful time at our Spring Fling on Friday evening! Families enjoyed games, vendors, face painting, temporary tattoos, playground fun, picnics with delicious food, and we ended the night with a free movie under the stars!

We kicked things off with the Alexander Drum Line getting everyone pumped up, our students cheered each other on loud and proud, our teachers wowed us with an epic lip sync performance, and we tested our knowledge with some fun GMAS trivia! 🥁📣🎤
The energy in the building was incredible, and our students are READY to rock the GMAS next week! We know our Wolf Cubs are going to do their very best and show just how hard they have worked all year long. Let’s do this! 💪🐺

Last Tuesday, our 3rd-5th graders took the stage for our Spring Musical and absolutely rocked it! 🎶⛏️ Their hard work, talent, and confidence shined from beginning to end, and we couldn’t be more proud of their outstanding performance. Second grade had an amazing time yesterday as they ventured out to Truist Park for a special tour! Students enjoyed sitting in the Atlanta Braves dugout, visiting the press box, and exploring many other behind-the-scenes areas of the stadium.
With the Braves currently holding the best record in Major League Baseball, our students got the chance to walk where the players walk and experience the greatness of America’s classic pastime firsthand. What a memorable day!
